Industrial Deionized (DM) Water Plant is a water treatment system specifically designed to produce
deionized water, which is purified by removing almost all dissolved ions and minerals from water. Deionized water is essential in many industrial applications where high water purity is required, such as in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, electronics, power generation, cosmatic and textile industries. The process of deionization (DI) uses ion exchange resins to remove positively charged ions (cations) like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and sodium (Na⁺), as well as negatively charged ions (anions) such as sulfate (SO₄²⁻), chloride (Cl⁻), and bicarbonates (HCO₃⁻).
